This site is dedicated to the TV Show NIGHT HEAT Night Heat was a TV show that aired in Canada on CTV and in the US on CBS. The show debuted in 1984 and the last original episode aired in 1989. The show was filmed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada - but the name of the city was never mentioned on the show. It was protrayed as a typical large scale US city. Night Heat was an action series about the professional and sometimes personal lives of police detectives as seen through the eyes of newspaper columnist Tom Kirkwood (Allan Royal). The show normally focused on two characters - Kevin O'Brien (Scott Hylands), the veteran cop who has done his share of duty and Frank Giambone (Jeff Wincott), the short-tempered, womanizing young partner. Other characters included Lt. Hogan (Sean McCann) who was the duo's boss. Nicole (Susan Hogan), who was Kevin's girlfriend and owned the bar the duo often hung out at and Whitey (Tony Rosato) who was the street informant, intune with the criminal world.
