A robbery at a local fish market sees the use of automatic weapons - many people are either hurt or killed during the incident. Frank and Kevin must track down the source of these automatic weapons, which have become increasingly used in crimes.

Continuing from the previous episode, Frank and Kevin try to capture the gangsters
that killed two guys. Their biggest lead being professional photographs taken
during a wedding reception on a near by boat.
A side story sees Nicoles' kid in a knife fight.

A man looking to avenge the death of his 7 year old daughter targets the police officers that were responsible for her accidental death. Five policeman are killed, with Kevin and Lt. Hogan next on the list.

Kevin and Frank track down two criminals to a back alley. The two try to escape, one manages to get away, while the other gets shot by Frank when he apparently pulls out a gun. An investigation of the crime scene finds no trace of a gun; only a flashlight.

Continuing from the previous episode, a very nervous woman walking in the park, is afraid she might be the next rape victim. She runs away from an alleged attacker. The man is picked up and taken in for questioning. It was all just a misunderstanding and he is released. However, later that same night, the woman is found murdered in the park.
Notables:
There is a great fight scene in this episode. It is like a hardcore wrestling
match.

Kevin runs under a closing garage door - this is seen at the start of the show
The suspect has killed in New Orleans, Los Angeles, Vancouver and has left for
Toronto.

Frank and his date (a fellow police officer) discover a hold-up in progress at a convenience store. They nab the suspect and discover he is wanted for murder as well.
Notables:
One of the best episodes in the series, if not the best. All actors, especially
Sean McCann are amazing.

A cleaning lady finds a man hanging over a doorway - it looks like an apparent suicide. Kevin suspects otherwise. Kevin suspicions are confirmed when a second strange killing occurs. Shortly thereafter the Feds become involved in this investigation.

A very questionable conclusion in this episode as the main character (a woman)
is able to bound and duct tape three men.
The bus terminal had buses leaving express to Detroit.
Women gets on bus that leaves at 4am
Women steals bird at midnight, told Kevin and co it was going to happen at 3am, Kevin finally clues in a goes to bus station another hour later, bus still hadn't left!

A man hires a prostitute and is stabbed and fatally wounded. The girl only takes some money from him. The man's body is found and it must be determined why he was stabbed and not fully robbed. As an aside, Stevie is getting flowers from an admirer.

There is a Cartographers Convention taking place in the city.

An up and coming reporter has a big story and he tells Tom Kirkwood about it. Since the source cannot be revealed, Tom advises the rookie that publishing such an article might be dangerous. The rookie leaves in a huff and is then killed by a hit and run driver.
Notables:
Tom has written three novels...well half-written.
Only episode is which Tom drinks.
Bobby Taylors name appears in the by-line with Tom Kirkwood (this is the only
time that someone's elses name appears with Toms)
Kevin and Frank get beat up pretty good - by two guard dogs, and Lt. Hogan!
The staffs paychecks are held for evidence after Stevie gets mugged when cashing

Kevin and Frank are called to check out a domestic. When they arrived at the home, they find two dead bodies and a man fleeing the scene. A chase occurs and Frank captures the fleeing suspect. The duo discover that the victims are his sister and father; however the man insists that he is innocent.

During a stakeout - Frank gets 4 donuts, Kevin asks for the BearClaw but Frank
said that he wanted it.

15. The Quest/"My Gun" 10/10/85 (7/10)
The unit gets tipped off to a drug deal that will be happening on the subway system. The exchange takes place and one suspect is quickly captured. In the process, the other suspect not only manages to get away, be he shoots Kevin and gets his gun.
Notables:
The whole subway scene is a joke. It is late at night, yet the subway station
is full of people - as if it is rush hour. The train arrives and they are only
a handful of people on it. The story starts off outside of Bay station, yet
when they are waiting for the train it is Sherbourne station. They get on the
train and ride it for a bit. They then exit at Bay Station! To give it that
authentic large US city feel - the subway and subway platform is littered with
garbage. The walls are covered in spray paint. Hilarious - especially if you
have ever ridden the transit system
in Toronto.

An arsonist tries to burn down a building, but while he is setting the fire, one of the building supers comes to the basement to procure some tools. The super seems to think something fishy is going on and proceeds to investigate - he gets clubbed in the head by a wrench and dies.

20. Snow White/"A game of combat" 11/14/85 (9/10)
Two combat punks corner a man in the park - they pretend that they are going to kill him - but then they just run away. The man shaken and upset goes after the two thugs and confronts them. A fight ensues and he is eventually shot and killed for real. A mentally challenged girl witnesses it all.
Notables:
Continuity flaw. Frank drives the mother and girl home. When he leaves their
apartment, Kevin is waiting for him out front with the car.

A voyeur in a park looking at a little girl is spotted by the girls father. He organizes a mob and corners the pervert. He is captured and held until police arrive. A dead girls body is discovered during the chase. The voyeur quickly becomes the prime suspect in two missing girl cases in the area.

Whitey is selling photographs with life-sized celebrities. The celebrities are
Ronald Reagan, Brian Mulroney and Princess Di. The funny thing is the celebrity

While a meeting about a local halfway house is taking place, the murder of

A man soon to be entering the Witness Protection program wants to visit his
old neighbourhood one last time. He visits a restaurant and a shooting takes
place. The chef is killed, but he manages to survive. The cops continue to try
and protect him, but whoever is trying to kill him, always seems to be one step
ahead.
Notables:
Late in the show, someone is shot at their home, Carson, Colby and Chrsitine
are told to stay there until an ambulance arrives, meanwhile Hogan, Kevin and
Frank leave that place to go elsewhere after another bad guy (King Brewery).
Shortly thereafter, all six of the aforementioned people show up at the brewery
at the same time!

of picture hanging on the wall - one picture divided over three different frames.

There is a mistake in this episode. Kevin and Frank are in back of a cab, if you look at the rear window - it is fogged up, then it is defogged and then it goes back to being fogged up. I am guessing they shot this scene at least twice, the close up on Kevin was done during the second shooting and by that time the window had been defogged.

When Whitey picks up some B & E merchandise at a local industrial building,
the guy gives him some Emeralds to get appraised. During the exchange another
guy enters the building and shots and kills Whiteys source. Both the shooter
and Whitey flee. However when forensics comes back with results from the murder
seen, only Whiteys prints are found.

A side story sees Nicole pregnant and trying to decide what to do with Kevin.
